Is Woo Casino legit? What we checked on 29 September 2026

Searching whether Woo Casino is legit, safe or legal in Australia gets you clones, forum threads and casino directories. Here we read the footer, the licence line and the Australian law, then say plainly what each means for a punter in Sydney or Perth with $50 on the line. What you'll be able to do after reading: tell the operator from a copy, and know what protection you do and don't have.

Every trust question starts at the bottom of the page. On 29 September 2026 the Woo Casino footer read: “woocasino.com is owned and operated by Novatrix SRL that is incorporated under the laws of Costa Rica with company registration number 3-102-893958 … operating under E-gaming license No. 0000002 issued by Tobique Gaming Commission.” Two things stand out. Novatrix SRL is a Costa Rican company, and Tobique is a First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada, whose gaming commission issues licences to online operators.

For: the operator is named, with a registration number you can look up, and the licence has a number. Against: neither Costa Rica nor the Tobique Gaming Commission gives an Australian punter a regulator to complain to with any teeth here. The site’s own configuration also carries a Curaçao licence code, which suggests the licensing history has moved; the footer is the line that counts today.

What the Interactive Gambling Act means for you

The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes it an offence to provide online casino games, including online pokies, to people in Australia. The offence sits with the operator. The Act contains no offence for a person who plays. That’s why you’ll see Woo Casino accept Australian sign-ups, take AUD deposits and pay out, while the same site can’t advertise on Australian TV or be licensed by any state.

ACMA, the federal regulator, enforces the Act by asking internet providers to block offshore casino domains. Since November 2019 it has blocked well over a thousand addresses, and several older Woo Casino addresses appear in those lists. An operator answers by opening new domains, which is why numbered Woo addresses show up in search. If your provider blocks the address you have, that’s ACMA at work, not the casino closing.

Where the scale sits on trust

Terms score 5 of 10 on our scale because the bank transfer lane is tight and the licence is light, not because we found a stalled payout. We haven’t yet counted complaints on independent dispute sites with dates; that column is empty until we do, and we’d rather show an empty column than an invented number. If Woo Casino suits you on the cashier side, the review has the full reading and the button.

What protection you have and don’t have

For: the terms are published, the KYC policy is a separate page, and the payments table sets limits in numbers rather than “subject to review”. If a payout stalls, you have those numbers to quote in the live chat. Against: there is no Australian dispute body for an offshore casino. Your practical protection is the size of your balance. Withdraw as you go rather than letting a win sit, and take the withdrawal terms as the ceiling on how fast money can come back.

Card deposits deserve one more line. Several Australian banks decline gambling merchant codes, and a declined card doesn’t mean the casino is fake. That’s why PayID and Neosurf exist in the cashier, and why we recommend checking your bank’s policy before you blame the site.

How to tell the real site from a clone

Search for the name and you’ll find half a dozen lookalike domains with the Woo logo. Some are affiliate pages like this one, some are copies that harvest logins. Three checks take a minute. First, the footer must carry the Novatrix SRL name and the licence number quoted above. Second, the cashier must show AUD and list the methods on the deposits page. Third, the address must start with https and the padlock must be valid for that domain. A page that asks you to log in before showing a footer fails the first check.

This site links to Woo Casino through our own redirect, so the address you land on is the one we checked on the date at the top of this page. We don’t host mirrors or list “today’s address”; that changes weekly and we won’t guess.

Questions Australians ask about is it legit?

Is Woo Casino legal in Australia?

Offering online casino games to Australians is prohibited for the operator under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. The Act does not make it an offence for you to play. Woo Casino is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission according to its own footer, not by any Australian regulator, and no online casino is licensed in Australia.

Who is behind Woo Casino?

The footer names Novatrix SRL, incorporated in Costa Rica with registration number 3-102-893958 and a registered address in Cartago province, operating under e-gaming licence No. 0000002 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission.

Is Woo Casino safe with my details?

The site runs on https, publishes a privacy policy and a KYC policy, and offers two-factor login in its account settings configuration. Safety of your money depends on the withdrawal terms, which we cover on the withdrawals page.

Why are there so many Woo Casino addresses?

ACMA blocks offshore casino domains at Australian internet providers, and operators open new addresses in response. Numbered addresses in search results are that pattern. Check the footer of any address you land on: the operator name and licence number should match the ones quoted on this page.

Is Woo Casino on the ACMA blocked list?

Several earlier Woo Casino addresses appear in ACMA's published blocking lists. The address we checked, woocasino.com/en-AU, opened normally from outside Australia on 29 September 2026. From an Australian connection, a blocked address shows an ACMA notice instead of the site.
